John Rizio-Hamilton

r. Rizio-Hamilton has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Chester J. Straub of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  In that capacity, he worked on cases involving an accountant's duty to correct under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and a question of first impression regarding class certification under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23(b)(3).  Prior to clerking for Judge Straub, Mr. Rizio-Hamilton clerked for the Honorable Sidney H. Stein of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Mr. Rizio-Hamilton is currently a member of the teams prosecuting In re Bank of America Corp. Securities, Derivative and ERISA Litigation, In re Citigroup Inc. Bond Litigation, In re Wachovia Preferred Securities and Bond/Notes Litigation, Eastwood Enterprises LLC v. Farha, et al., and In re MBIA Inc. Securities Litigation.
