r. Friedman prosecutes corporate governance and shareholder rights litigation on behalf of the firm’s institutional investors, focusing on merger and acquisition litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Friedman was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he represented clients in merger and acquisition transactions and debt financings. During this time, he also served as an associate counsel for the Lawyers’ Committee For Civil Rights Under Law, where he led non-partisan election protection efforts for the organization’s National Campaign for Fair Elections.
