r. Bitzegaio practices out of the firm's New York office and is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, where he focuses primarily on patent litigation.  Most recently, he was a member of the team that successfully represented the plaintiff in patent infringement suits relating to computer backup and restore technology against Intel Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, and other large software and PC manufacturers.

Mr. Bitzegaio is currently on the teams prosecuting the patent cases Anvik v. Nikon Precision, Inc. et al. (and related cases), Leveraged Innovations, LLC v. NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. et al., and Williamson v. Verizon Services Corp. et al.

Prior to joining BLB&G, Mr. Bitzegaio worked as an associate at Darby & Darby, where he litigated a wide variety of patent cases related to computer, electrical and mechanical engineering. He has a technical background in computer science and mathematics.
